Retaining Walls, Firepits & Outdoor Kitchens

Retaining Walls
Retaining walls allow for the greatest vertical change in elevation over the shortest horizontal distance. They are especially useful at new construction sites where space is often limited. There are a wide variety of materials that can be used for retaining wall construction. However, one of the most common types of retaining walls is the segmental concrete block system.

The retaining wall system we most commonly use is called Versa-Lok. It's the only solid, pinned system on the market and their rugged, rock-solid durability enables them to outlast railroad ties and timbers while remaining environmentally safe. There are unlimited design capabilities, some of which include straight walls, corners, curves, columns, stairs, terraces and more. There are also a variety of colors to choose from.

Firepits & Fireplaces
Firepits are one of the most popular features in the residential landscape today. There are a variety of styles to consider including recessed versus raised and natural gas versus wood burning.  Fireplaces are becoming a more common feature as well.  Distance from structures, ages of family members, and amount of use should also be considered when choosing the style that is best for you.

Outdoor Kitchens
Outdoor kitchens are becoming an ever popular element in many residential outdoor living spaces. There are a variety of grill options available including propane or natural gas, electric or even charcoal.  The counter materials also vary from concrete to granite slabs.  The design possibilities are endless and the elements can be configured to meet the needs of your family.
